Remains of a full stack devops engineer
This prehistoric remains actually is stitched together from several hundred pieces of bone fossils representing 40 percent of the skeleton of a female dated to about 3.2 million years ago, commonly refereed to as Lucy. Lucy belonged to a small tribe of highly autonomous 2 pizza team collaborating with a bunch of full stack hunter gatherers. This tribe operated in their own soloed caves, with full autonomy to choose their tools and processes, as long as there was meat, and it was a you kill it - you eat it model.

A man Joseph Campbell had this theory that humankind has only one story. It is the same story repeated over and over again across time and cultures. The story of the archetype hero, think full stack devops engineer, ventures forth from the world of common day into a region of supernatural wonder: fabulous forces are there encountered and a decisive victory is won: the hero comes back from this mysterious adventure with the power to bestow boons on his fellow man. We only have to look to history to see where we are going.

Cognitive specialisation Studies suggests that certain behaviours and skills, are passed on to offspring and refined to be maximally beneficial by the process of natural selection. Specialisations serve an adaptive purpose for an organism by allowing the organism to be better suited for its habitat. Over time, specialisations often become essential to the species' continued survival. Cognitive specialisation in humans has been thought to underlie the acquisition, development, and evolution of language, theory of mind, and specific social skills such as trust and reciprocity. These specialisations are considered to be critical to the survival of the species

To summarise, devops is like life, and I think we are still in the stone ages of this evolution. You cannot put it in a box, or behind a degree, or a job title. What matters is are you building and operating safe software experiences for the contentment of your customers and your peers, and do you and your peers have the freedom to learn and experience.
